BETONYP EPD – A new milestone in our sustainability journey

We are pleased to announce that the Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) for FALCO Zrt.’s BETONYP – Cement Bounded Particle Board – has been officially published by the German Institut Bauen und Umwelt (IBU).

The EPD was issued in accordance with ISO 14025 and EN 15804+A2, under external verification. It confirms not only the excellent technical properties of BETONYP – including its fire classification (B-s1, d0) and high resistance to moisture, frost, fungi, and insects – but also provides transparent, verifiable data about the product’s environmental footprint from cradle to end-of-life.

This is a major step forward in our environmental strategy and reinforces client trust in the FALCO product portfolio. BETONYP is an ideal choice wherever durability and environmental compliance must go hand in hand – from façades to ceiling panels and formwork systems.

The EPD is valid from July 9, 2025 until July 8, 2030.
