Szombathely: The 1000 trees programme continues!
Announced in February, the first phase of the planting commenced this week. The employees of FALCO Zrt. was working diligently in the area of the Csaba Street flyover, joining the tree planting movement of the city government and of the parent company's (Kronospan) #GROW initiative. The latter has set itself the target of planting 1 million trees in the countries of the group, distributing and nurturing at least 30,000 saplings here in Vas County, 2022.
All 73 trees will be put in the ground by the end of March. FALCO Zrt. will place 29 additional ones in kindergartens, nurseries and schools, enriching the eastern part of the city and Szombathely as a whole with more than a hundred seedlings.
